The IMPACT 5000 Go, start to finishPortable DECT headset
15 months from spec to launch: five variants across EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
The work
The IMPACT 5000 Go is a portable DECT headset you can carry from desk to desk: a foldable 120 g charge stand, one USB port and up to 135 m of range. DECT has its own frequency band, so you get less interference from other wireless devices in a busy office, and Microsoft certified it for Teams. I had to launch five variants in EMEA, APAC and the Americas. DECT bands differ by market, so each variant needed a version per region, with its own certification, packaging and catalog record. About 30 teams owned a piece of that work.
